Technology, funding, and culture: Learnings for early-stage startups

At Amazon Web Services, Yin works with early-stage startups and strategic partners (accelerators, incubators, seed investors, universities) to drive innovation in healthcare and life sciences. Prior to AWS, she was an early employee and held leadership roles including Head of Science and Operations at a VC-backed biotech startup Strateos, where she helped build a robotic cloud lab platform for drug discovery and synthetic biology. Yin holds a PhD in Molecular Biology and Genomics from Cornell University with 10+ publications in top journals. As a mentor for StartX, ScaleHealth, BUILT BY GIRLS, and others, Yin enjoys advising startups and promoting the next generation of women in STEM.
